Lee, Bales Finish Up Tigers' Run at Olympic Trials

University of Missouri junior Krishna Lee (Kansas City, Mo.) and former Tiger Amanda Bales (Bettendorf, Iowa) took part in the fifth day of the USATF Olympic Team Trials late Friday in Eugene, Ore. Lee took 18th of 20 in the women's shot put while Bales finished the 1500 in 28th. Tonight completed the run of current and former Tigers in the USA Olympic Trials for track & field.

Adcock Wins Second International Medal

Missouri sophomore Nick Adcock (Kansas City, Mo. / Oak Park HS) mined his second international medal last weekend in taking second in the men's decathlon at the NACAC (North American) Under-23 Championships in Toluca, Mexico. In addition, Fellow Tiger decathlete Lars Rise (Trondheim, Norway) competed in individual events at his nation's championships in his hometown of Trondheim.

Adcock Part of U.S.' NACAC Under-23 Championships Roster

University of Missouri sophomore Nick Adcock (Kansas City, Mo. / Oak Park HS) will be traveling to Mexico later this week, joining Team USA for competition in the men's decathlon at NACAC (North American) Under-23 Championships. The event will be held 40 miles from Mexico City in Toluca, a city that lies at high-elevation at 8,750 feet. For Adcock, at the young age of 20, this will be his second U.S. team, having competed with Team USA at the 2007 Pan-Am Junior Games where he won Silver in the decathlon.
